大赛网络初赛以线上报名的方式面向全球征集优质项目;地区(行业)复赛结合时下趋势及地区特性在若干热点领域筛选细分行业举办；半决赛以现场路演+云路演，同步线上直播的形式开展；总决赛于每年的世界互联网大会期问举办，并通过组织投资界闭门会、互联网大咖见面会等活动，促进全球互联网各要素精准对接，为大会注入产业创新动能。
During the preliminary online competition, global contestants are encouraged to apply online with their projects. According to current circumstances and local conditions, the regional (industrial) intermediary competition will be held focusing on certain hot topics in selected industrial segments. The semifinal will be organized in the form of onsite roadshow plus cloud roadshow, with synchronized online live broadcasting. The final will be held during the World Internet Conference. Such events as exclusive seminars for investors and meetings with the lnternet celebrities will be hosted to facilitate precise matchmaking of global Internet elements and drive industrial innovation.
