The Global Internet Competition of "Straight to Wuzhen" (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") is a highlight event of the World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit (hereinafter referred to as the “Wuzhen Summit”). By exploring novel technologies, emerging formats, and innovative business models in the evolution of the Internet, it has established a significant platform for collaboration in Internet initiatives, technology advancements, skilled workforces, and financial resources. The Competition is committed to promoting global cooperation and innovation in the Internet sector, stimulating the vitality of Internet entrepreneurship, gathering young talents in the field, and facilitating high-quality and precise global matchmaking within the global Internet industry, thereby contributing to the vigorous development of the global digital economy.

三、Tracks and Requirements
Besides the five major tracks of artificial intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, digital medicine, industrial Internet, and digital culture, the Competition of 2024 will hold special contests for AI+ scenario innovative applications, promoting AI empowerment across various industries and facilitating the rapid development of new quality productive forces.
(一)Tracks of intelligent connected vehicles, digital medicine, industrial Internet, smart IoT, and digital culture
The projects should fall into one of the following fields of digital economy: intelligent connected vehicles, digital medicine, industrial Internet, smart IoT, and digital culture.
1、The participants must be registered independent legal entities with a good reputation and no negative records.
2、The participants should hold independent intellectual property rights for their projects and do not infringe upon any patents, copyrights, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others. Furthermore, they must comply with all relevant national laws and regulations; failure to do so will be disqualified.
3、The participants are required to submit the entries and relevant materials according to the requirements of the competition, and are responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of all information provided. They must also sign a Letter of Commitment for Authenticity. If any false information is found, they will be disqualified.
4、The Organizing Committee of the Competition will publish the results on platforms including the official website of the WIC, accepting social supervision.
(二)AI+ Scenario Innovative Application Special Contests
1、Requirements for Participating Organizations
Participating organizations should meet the following conditions:
(1)Participating teams must be jointly registered by AI service providers and scenario application enterprises, with each entry limited to one specific track.
(2)Each participating organization may have more than one teams and entries, but each team can only register for one competition region and submit one entry. Each participating team may not have more than four representatives, and each representative may only represent one team in the competition. After the registration closes, representatives are final and cannot be changed.
(3)The participating teams shall be responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of all information provided. If any false information is found, they will be disqualified. The name of each participating team must not contain any uncivilized or inappropriate language.
2、Requirements for Entries
The participating teams are required to submit their entries and relevant materials through the official registration system of the Competition in accordance with the submission requirements. They must ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of the materials. The entries should meet the following conditions:
(1)The entries must comply with the requirements of the Competition tracks for this year and align with the selected track. The name of the entries should reflect the main characteristics of the solutions.
(2)The entries must be original and do not infringe upon any patents, copyrights, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others. Furthermore, they must comply with all relevant national laws and regulations; failure to do so will be disqualified.
(3)During registration, preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds, participating teams may continuously upgrade their works without changing the name and main features. The work submitted for the last time during the corresponding round shall be deemed as the entries.
(4)During the review period, participating teams must supplement the materials related to their entries as required by the Organizing Committee.
(5)Generally, all submitted entries and relevant materials will not be returned.
三、Competition Schedule
The special contests within each track encompass three stages: online preliminary, semi-final, and final.
1、The Online Preliminaries. We will collect excellent projects from various fields around the world for each track through the official websites of the Wuzhen Summit and the Competition, and arrange for online review by expert judges. 20 domestic projects will be selected from each track to compete in the semi-finals, while 10-15 overseas projects will be comprehensively selected from each competition venue to proceed to the semi-finals.
2、The Semi-finals. The semi-finals will be conducted separately in China and overseas. The China region will host competitions for each track in key cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Suzhou, based on their regional industrial strengths. The competitions in North America and Asia-Pacific are planned to be held online, and the ones in Paris, France are scheduled to take place offline.
3、The Finals and Supporting Events. The finals are planned to be held 1-3 days prior to the opening ceremony of the Wuzhen Summit, with both domestic and overseas projects competing on the same stage (overseas projects can participate online). Grand Prizes and First, Second, and Third Prizes will be awarded for each track.
4、Supporting Events. Supporting events such as "Wuzhen Dialogue" will be held during the Wuzhen Summit.
5、Award Ceremony. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on the last day of the Wuzhen Summit in Wuzhen, where the winners of the Grand Prizes in each track will have the opportunities to showcase their projects on-site.
